If you say "we" instead of "I" in your site content, this is for you.

Many Website Tonight®  customers use our service for their small business site.  And as such, customer service comes in two forms – e-mail and telephone.  I’m sure you all know how to be courteous via e-mail or over the phone.  But there is one thing that a small business owner can often overlook when performing customer service duties - the TIME OF DAY to perform those duties.

For example – if you’re running a web site and you want to convey the idea that you are more than a one man band, you wouldn’t call a customer at 10pm, right?  So why would you e-mail them at that hour?  If you are running a web site, you have to think about the perception people may conjure when they see e-mails from you through the night hours.  Although it can give the impression that you are a die-hard worker and you are always connected, it can also give the impression that the business REALLY might be just a one-person band.

Enter “Scheduled Delivery”.  If you have WST, you most certainly have a web based e-mail account that you can use to correspond with your audience.   In our e-mail service, we offer users the option to schedule a delivery of an e-mail at some later time in the future.   I've highlighted the button below.  Just look at the top left corner of your compose window the next time you're sending off an e-mail and you'll see it.

This is especially useful when you want to e-mail customers at 2am but don’t want them to receive it until normal business hours.  Take advantage of this overlooked tool and give your audience a professional impression!
