Mark my word, err… images.

After all, you have an image to protect.

One of the great things about the WWW is that people get to see the results of your creativity, work, and skill. This is excellent if you make furniture, restore cars, or sell any tangible item or service online. But, it’s not so convenient when the item for sale is often directly reproducible with a screen capture, right click save, or a myriad of devious, though readily circumvented, techniques. I’d like to qualify this line from the help files linked to below.

NOTE: The securest and safest method of protecting valuable digital images is to refrain from sending them through the Internet or posting them online.”

That does make it rather hard to showcase your work doesn’t it? It’s almost worth putting Photoshop(r) back in the box, dusting off your developing reels, and breaking out the developer Roxanne. But wait! You don’t need to put on your red light as Photoshop and similar image editors can get us out of this, err…fix.

We’ve updated two articles that speak to this concern, within the help system for our Online Photo Filer program. The information is generally applicable for image content no matter where it ends up.

Hi, I'm still looking for that blog on the forum that you promised. Is there any discussion at Godaddy about upgrading the forum, so the adminstrator can better manage the dashboard, ad advertising and search for users. Visitors should be able to search posts, too. I don't know, maybe I'm the only user who cares about this.

      Mark,

The forums are still under active development  and  I apologize for the lack of follow through the article that I was going to write was predicated on features that have yet to be included. As soon as they are present I'll post about it.

Hi, I am the owner and creator of gamers101.net. And I agree with Mark, when will we see the new features? The search is nice, but I think that the administrator can temporarily revoke users , and be able to edit all other users posts. Being able to elect moderators who can lock topics wouldn't hurt either.

      Greetings,

This feature, delegating admins  for the board and possibly even by folder is certainly on the roadmap for the forum.  I'm afraid we don't have a public time line for the implementation for this, or other features but we are still working on a series of improvements to the program and it's certainly not been forgotten. Thank you for your feedback
