WST 4.4.1 Upload your own custom flash introduction.
Just a quick note to let you know that we’ve added a user requested feature to Website Tonight. The feature allows you to use your own choice of flash intro with the program. It’s located under add-ons, Flash Intro, and then select the “upload custom flash intro” radio button. Further information on using this feature can be located within our help section.
Don’t know how to obtain or create a flash intro? A quick trip to your favorite search engine with this phrase “free flash intro” will give enough reading for the next few hours. Most of the services will not only give you the flash intro but the surrounding code to enable it to run within your web page. Luckily, we’ve taken care of that part for you within Website Tonight and all you need is the file that ends in .SWF.
Once uploaded, you can match the background, size your file, add metadata, and add sound to your finished intro. If the intro already contains sound, it’s best to leave this off.
Other than that, it’s best to avoid files that are not self contained (e.g they need additional parameters for the text /images used), since we won’t be able to reference those in this context.
Until next time

Are there any plans to make Website Tonight available for Linux users? I cannot access the editing tools from either Firefox or IE in Linux.
Thanks,
Sarah

Greetings Sarah,
I'll have to take a specific look at that I would have said that that majority of features were capable of working in Firefox on the common distros. That doesn't mean that they are presently, as you have pointed out, working but we shall certainly take your request into consideration for future support within Website Tonight. IE is another matter We wouldn't have tested it on what to the best of my knowledge is likely to be IE running through an emulator such as WINE for anything other than curiosity as it doesn't appear to be supported. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.

Hi,
Does anyone know what happened with the built in flash intro capability from Go Daddy ? The flash intro used to auto-load after 5 or 10 seconds of showing the flash intro into the home page. Now it stays on the intro until the visitor clicks on "Enter Site". Go Daddy claims they made no changes to cause this, but we had our site the same way for 9 months and now this change happened without us changing anything. I suspect Go Daddy updated some code and caused this. There is no setting that we can find that will allow you to have it auto-load into the home page after the flash intro has been displayed. Any suggestions ?
Thanks.

Greetings,
Sorry for the delay in replying to your question about the flash intro. I thought, as did a few others that I consulted, that the flash intro looped indefinitely until a user clicked on enter site so I can understand the claims why that would be the case. Other than making that an option in a future version I'm not sure there is a workaround when using one of the inbuilt intros.
