Page-Level Background Images

We promised more background-image goodness, and as of today we're delivering. Ever find the perfect template for your website (from our huge selection), but you just can't get your website "just right" due to the fact you cannot change the background images within the template for each page separately? Well, for Deluxe and Premium account holders, now you can!

It's as easy as you going to the already familiar "Change Template Images" screen from within the Designer (which can also be accessed by double-clicking a background image thanks to a recent update) and changing images as you did before, but before clicking "OK" you will see the optional "Apply changes to this page only" checkbox in the bottom left. That's it; you've now applied your desired changes to your current page only. If at any time you change a "site" image (checkbox unchecked), that site-wide image will only affect other pages that do not have page-specific images already.

These changes open the door to much more creativity, and we’re excited to see what our users come up with next!

While unrelated to Page-Level Background Images, if I understand your question correctly you can edit your colors by going to "Design -> Advanced Color Options" from the menu. This will allow you to adjust the overall colors for your site. If you require control over the background colors of each individual content block, you can insert html into the block such as "<div style='background-color: blue'>my content</div>". While this will get the job done, as always we're looking to make things easier for our users in the future.

      Hi DeWayne McCulley ,

I believe you have a form on your site which contains textboxes ,and you wish to change their background color. Unfortunately, there is no straightforward way to change the background of an individual textbox. You will have to edit the form , and select the "html" mode. Inside the html, you will need to locate the textbox whose background color you wish to change.
      Eg:
      "<input id="formElement_First"  type="text" name="First Name" labelID="formLabel_First" /> "

This can be changed to :

      "<input id="formElement_First" style="background-color: #42cdc5" type="text" name="First Name" labelID="formLabel_First" /> "

Let us know if this resolves your issue.

      Regards,
      Rumeli

    Enhancements.
    1. When Inserting/Replacing an image I find that the number of @ 15 is not enough. Question as to what enact images per page - How about up to 75 with a dense items / row - at least 5/row. Assume display up to 1280 x 1024.
    2. How about a tutorial on meta-tags.
    3. Page management - you need a library system. How does one keep track of up 999 pages? A single drop - list box doesn't work well w/ 200 pages. And what about typo-matic DDL boxes?
    4. Generic image displayer for higher resolution where pass to image to a page and image can't be downloaded?

    Thanks!! Nice development tool!
